We are so excited to cheer on our Stallions as they wrap up an awesome season at the LSSSL Division D Championship Meet. This will be our team’s biggest showing ever at Champs! Please read this email thoroughly and let us know if you have any questions. You can access the heat sheet here.

When

• Swimmer Check-In: 2:15–2:30 p.m. with Courtney Stoops at the rightmost doors leading out to the patio. When you enter the pool/spectator area you will enter the pool deck through the glass gate and follow the right side of the pool deck to the doors.
• Timers/Meet Marshall/Stroke & Turn Judge Meetings: 3:00 p.m.
• Stallions Warm-Up: 3:15–3:45 p.m.
• Spectators allowed inside: 3:15 p.m.
• Meet Begins: 4:00 p.m. (Note updated meet start time)
• Estimated End Time: 7:30 p.m.

Where

• Location: Alamo Heights Natatorium: 705 Trafalgar Rd, San Antonio, TX 78216
• Please note that this is a different pool than previous champs meets.
• Parking is very limited. We recommend not attempting to park in the main lot and instead park in a lot off of E. Ramsey Rd or on a side street. Please allow plenty of time for traffic and parking travel.

What to Bring

• Black swimsuit
• Team swim cap
• Goggles
• Towel
• Lawn chair or blanket
• Refillable water bottle or two - it is going to be hot!

Optional but recommended:

• Hydration tablets or electrolyte packets
• Snacks
• Sunscreen
• Hat/Sunglasses
• Entertainment

Our team area will be located on the shaded grass just outside the pool. It is going to be hot, so please come prepared!

Swimmers must remain seated with the team until they have completed all of their events. If you plan to pick up your swimmer when their events are completed, please communicate that with a Coach or Rayna. You will meet your swimmer outside the black gate.

Volunteers

Volunteer check in will be with swimmer check in. If you will be arriving later than your swimmer, please contact Rayna (203-536-8999) to arrange for your volunteer wristband & nametag.

• There will be meetings for Timers, Meet Marshalls and Stroke & Turn judges at 3:00 p.m.
• A wristband is required for access to the pool deck and swimmer areas.
• Please be on time for your shift.

What else do I need to know?

Spectator Seating

• Spectators may sit:
  • In the bleachers
  • In the designated spectator seating area on the pool deck (south of the bulkhead)
  • In designated outdoor spectator areas shown on the venue map
• Chairs will be provided on the deck. Please remain seated so everyone has a clear view.
• No spectators without a volunteer wristband will be permitted in the competition area or team areas.
• No seating is allowed on the deck directly in front of the bleachers.
• Seating is very limited. Be prepared to wait outside (pop ups are permitted) and come inside for your swimmer’s events.
• Spectators will be allowed inside at 3:15 p.m.

Food & Drinks

• Concessions will be available at the meet. (Cash/Venmo only)
• No outside food or drinks are permitted for spectators.
• Empty refillable water bottles are allowed.

Merchandise

• Champs shirts will be available for purchase for $20. Cash, Check, Credit Card accepted
