Info for Saturday's HOME Meet

Hi Stallion families,

Our third meet is this Saturday at HOME against the Summerfield TigerSharks.

Time & Location:

Arrive: 6:30 a.m. (Yes, we are aware this is early!)
Warm up at 6:50 a.m. (We're still aware of how early it is.)
Meet starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. (The earlier we start, the earlier we finish, before it gets too too hot. Plus we have to be out of the pool before it opens to the neighborhood.)

Spectator Set up - Please note!

We are shifting the set up for our home team spectators. The side of the pool with the brown benches/parking lot side is reserved for swimmers. Parents may set up across the pool: under the patio and on the pool deck on the side opposite the brown benches.

Concessions

We will have a concession stand with breakfast tacos, doughnuts, pickles, and fruit plus chips & candy. We are also selling t-shirts ($20 for the 2023 shirt, $5 for the 2022 shirt) and **new** cooling towels ($20)! Cash only!

Parents Relay

Parents who do not volunteer get automatically entered into the Parent Relay event at the halfway point. Just kidding! But please be sure to cheer on your neighbors who stepped up for this fun event.

Volunteers

  • We have two meets left. If you haven’t volunteered yet please log in to Swimtopia to sign up for a volunteer position.
  • Please check it with Robin Klussman when you arrive so she can account for everyone and fill in any remaining spots.  This also lets Coach know that everyone is here!

End of year party

Save the Date Monday, June 26 5:30-7:30 More details coming soon!

Recurring Reminders

  • If you are no longer able to attend the meet, even on Saturday morning, please message us on Remind so Coach can make last minute adjustments. This is especially important if your swimmer is in a relay.
  • Please respond in Swimtopia yes or no to the next meet. Coach Caesie thanks you!
  • Swimmers should wear team/black bathing suit, team swim cap, goggles
  • Sharpie - please write your swimmer's name on their right upper arm. This will help our Ready Bench volunteers identify everyone. Mark your swimmer’s event/ heat/ lane on their forearm or upper thigh with a Sharpie so your swimmer(s) can keep track of their events and the Ready Bench Parents can easily locate where your swimmer needs to be. You will find this information on the Heat Sheet we will send before the meet. See below for a sample Sharpie grid.

Go Red! Go Black! Go Stallions! Attack!
