Info for Saturday's Meet at Rogers Ranch Waverunners

Hi Stallion families,

Our second meet is this Saturday against the Rogers Ranch Waverunners!
Here are the details you need to know:

Time & Location

Arrive: 7:00 a.m.
Warm up at 7:20 a.m. Meet starts promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Location: 18200 Salado Canyon
**Please note the correct Rogers Ranch neighborhood pool!!**

Directions to the pool: Take Rogers Ranch Pkwy to Point Bluff Dr. Take a Left onto Point Bluff Drive. Gates will be open. After entering through the gate the pool is immediately to your right at the first stop sign. We have limited parking by the pool. Do try to carpool if possible. If you have a lot of stuff, i.e. tents, we recommend having someone drop off someone with everything and then go park the car. Parking is available along the interior streets.

Parking on Point Bluff Drive or Salado Canyon Drive is prohibited. Do not park there or your car can get towed. You can park on streets like Ivory Creek, Spider Lily, etc.

Please bring shade!

Our team will be sitting on the left side of the pool (closest to the parking lot). Overflow seating will be outside of the pool gates for both teams. Tents can also be set up there.  We have been told there is NO SHADE and hot pavement.  PLEASE bring a canopy if you have it.  You also need to bring something to anchor the tent (such as a sandbag) because there is no grass. If you have an extra canopy to share, please let us know!!

Volunteers

  • Since this is our home meet, hosted by the Waverunners, and a larger pool we still need volunteers.  Please log in to Swimtopia to sign up for a volunteer position if you have not already done so.
  • Please check it with Robin Klussman when you arrive so she can account for everyone and fill in any remaining spots.

Other items of note

    • The Waverunners will have a concession stand.  (Bring bills $20 and under or Zelle).
    • Swimmers should wear team/black bathing suit, team swim cap, goggles
    • Sharpie - please write your swimmer's name on their right upper arm. This will help our Ready Bench volunteers identify everyone. Mark your swimmer’s event/ heat/ lane on their forearm or upper thigh with a Sharpie so your swimmer(s) can keep track of their events and the Ready Bench Parents can easily locate where your swimmer needs to be. You will find this information on the Heat Sheet we will send before the meet. See below for a sample Sharpie grid.
    • If you are no longer able to attend the meet, even on Saturday morning, please message us on Remind so Coach can make last minute adjustments. This is especially important if your swimmer is in a relay.
    • If you've read this far, please respond in Swimtopia yes or no to the next two meets.  Coach Caesie thanks you!

Go Red! Go Black! Go Stallions! Attack!
