Pictures & Mock Meet Tomorrow! Stallions Weekly-ish update 5/21

Hi Stallions, 

Lots of important information here so please, at minimum, skim through the whole email.

Reminder: Tomorrow Monday, 5/22 is Picture Day and Mock Meet. 
Arrival times for individual photos will be staggered according to family name. Sibling photos are welcome:
A-K - 4:00 p.m.
L- Z - 4:30 p.m.
Team photo will be taken promptly at 5:00 p.m.

Here is a note from the photographer, Michelle Funk:
I've attached a sample order form as well as a document featuring the products I’ll offer when I take your photos on Picture Day. I prefer parents use the order envelopes I provide (payments can be inserted inside). I do understand there are times when people need to print the order form in advance. Payment is due when photos are taken. I accept cash, check, PayPal, Venmo and Zelle. If you use an app to send your payment, please make sure you add your team name and swimmer's name in the "Note" section. I’ll have a QR Codes available for these apps when we meet.
The Mock Meet will start after the photos.
Please consider learning the various positions required to run a smooth meet. If you signed up for the Ready Bench, Judges, Starter, etc. - or even if you haven't! - this is the time to learn!
A few other notes: 
  • RSVP for the first two meets: Please log in to your Swimtopia account and sign up for whether you will be in attendance for the first two meets - May 27 at Regency and June 3rd at Rogers Ranch Point Bluff. This is necessary for Coach Caesie to put together a proper line-up and doesn't leave her scrambling at the last minute to make race changes. 
  • Stroke & Turn clinic: The last Stroke & Turn clinic will be Tuesday 5/23, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Here is the link for the virtual clinic.
  • Men's Bathroom:  We received word that the men's bathroom has been left in terrible condition - toilet paper unraveled and thrown about and clogged toilets. We don't know if it's our swimmers or other pool users but please remind your children about respecting our community space. Otherwise the HOA may close the men's bathroom during practices. 
  • Daytime practice schedule:  Our team follows the NEISD school schedule and practices will shift to mornings on Wednesday, May 31st.
    Practice times are as follows:
    Ages 7 & under: 8:30-9 a.m.
    Ages 8-10: 9:15-10:15 a.m.
    Ages 11 & up: 10:30-11:30 a.m.
    *Arrive 15 mins early for dry deck warm ups
  • Free Swim 5/30: Per tradition, practice on Tuesday, May 30th will be free swim. (This is the last afternoon practice.)
